We hold to the 100.4 temperature threshold; before returning to care, children must remain symptom, and medication-free for 48 hours, and provide a doctors’ note. If a doctor requests a COVID test, negative PCR results will be required as well.
To minimize the introduction of germs, we’ve always had a no street shoes policy; staff and students remove their “outdoor shoes” upon arrival and change into their “indoor shoes”.
Currently, parents drop off and pick up their child at their child’s classroom door, but only teachers and students enter the classroom. This helps to minimize close contact and germ spread.
We launder infant crib sheets daily, and cot sheets are washed every other day. Staff are provided optional clean scrubs to change into upon arrival, and are cleaned daily onsite as well.
Our center’s shared surfaces and spaces are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized throughout the day with deep cleanings happening each evening and weekend.
High priority is placed on frequency and proper technique of hand-washing upon arrival and throughout the day.
Our school is always locked. The front door is secured with electronic keypad entry, so only authorized staff and families may enter. Visitors must sign-in and present a valid ID to enter our building.
All schools are equipped with security cameras throughout classrooms and the lobby. These cameras are closely monitored by management and can be viewed by families at any time in the lobby.
Our playgrounds are fenced and secured with gates to ensure your child can play outdoors safely.
We continuously monitor all children, including when they enter or exit the building, enter or exit a vehicle or move to a new location in or around our school.
Our school has smoke detectors and fire extinguishers, and both are regularly inspected.
Our team members are certified in first aid and CPR. Our infant and toddler teachers receive SIDs training.
